R&R, AIRCRAFT RATINGS, RANKS PROMOTIONS, OFFICER COMMANDING: AIR BASE

07/09/2018

The SAVAF Rules and Regulation have being reviewed to accommodate the new VAM system.  Some key changes have being made to the Management Structure of the SAVAF, the Aircraft Rating system as well as the Rank promotion criteria.  These changes were made taking objectivity rather than subjectivity in mind and will allow members to naturally qualify for promotions and ratings as well as to allow member to become skilled in the process for future command.

Please note that any previously given ratings and ranks will remain in place but all future promotion will be awarded as per the new criteria.

The new Rules and Regulations are published on the VAM Website as well as the Forum.

AIRCRAFT RATINGS

We have made changes on the VAM system to the individual Aircraft Ratings according to the new criteria and awarded the ratings that you already qualified for according to the old offline logbook system.  If you find that something have being left out please notify the Air Office per email with your logbook attached as proof.

The new criteria are based on Aircraft Type Categories rather than a specific aircraft and are only relevant to the actual SAVAF fleet.
